Common questions

These are real questions, with real answers. Mypersonus is a quiet place for your stories, owned by you, shared with who you choose. For a short definition, see what Mypersonus is. For who owns the files, see ownership. The four steps are on how it works.

Who owns the files?

You do. Your photos, voice, and stories stay in your account. You choose who sees them. You can delete uploads and the Mypersonus itself. We don't run ads, and we don't scrape the public web to invent you.

Do I start with one for myself?

Yes. That's the front door. Create yours first — your studio, your memories. Then invite friends, family, classmates, or coworkers if you want. Making a Mypersonus of someone else is optional, and only with their permission.

Is this only for family?

No. Mypersonus is for people you actually know: friends, family, work, school, faith, neighbors — whoever you invite. Circles keep those groups from blending together.

Do I have to make it public?

No. Private is the default. After you have a Mypersonus, you can invite people you trust. A public record is a later door you opt into — it is not how you sign up.

Is this an AI pretending to be me?

No. A Mypersonus is a studio built from what you (or someone you invited) actually shared. Chat and voice are helpers on those memories. You can see they come from what was shared.

How is this different from a regular social feed?

No ads. No noise designed to keep you scrolling. You own the data. You enjoy memories with people you know — quietly, on your terms.

Could this be misused?

Any powerful tool can be. That's why Mypersonus is consent-led: permission to create someone else, screening, private by default, and the right to delete. The goal is a place you control — private by default, and only shared when you say so.

What if I later want a public Mypersonus?

That's a door you find after yours exists. If you opt in, you can share a public record of what you chose to put there. Most people never will, and that's fine.
